Texture segregation

I Have found this picture in: www.visualgraphic.tumblr.com

One can almost feel the 3D texture in this picture. It's trough texture segregation that we separate foreground from background.

Our ability to segregate textures during early vision is a key to understand and depict the meaning go graphics.

US elections 2012

This is an abstract graphic that I have also made for school. The aim of this exercise was to do a graph about the US Elections.

Any remarks?

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!! I found this really nice infographic in: www.dailyinfographic.com. I think that's it's very visual and creative. The guidelines helps you travel around the graph and to catch your eyes towards the important element! One remark on my behalf: maybe to much elements that may distract you. What do you think?

Meat consumption

This is a graph I have made for my class. I used the pen tool to do the shapes. I should of put the title bigger to respect a correct hierarchy. I used the same color for the theme.  Maybe another graph instead of the last image would have been a better choice. What do you think?

The noun project

The Noun Project is a platform empowering the community to build a global visual language that everyone can understand.
Visual communication is incredibly powerful. Symbols have the ability to transcend cultural and language barriers and deliver concise information effortlessly and instantaneously. For the first time, this image-based system of communication is being combined with technology to create a social language that unites the world.

This is another infographic that I made for school but I don't really like it. There's not enough information and it looks empty... I used the pen tool in indesign to do the different shapes.
What could I have change to make it more interesting?

Who's paying for the president?

I found this infographic in:  www.good.is
Much more complexe than the previous one but a nice goal objective.
There's a nice hierarchy in this infographic plus the use of colors to compare Obama and Romney.
I personally think that using only 3 colors is the perfect combination to catch your readers attention.

The weight of obesity

This is another type of infographic: It's easy to understand, you don't need a particular knowledge about the topic to understand the main issue of the graphic. What i also like about this graphic is that it seems realizable for a student like me.
I found this graphic in: www:visual.ly
